Art Specifications


Visions Art Specifications:

  • Visions requires BLACK AND WHITE VECTOR art.
  • We do not accept use rasterized images such as JPEG, TIFF TGA, GIF, PSD, ETC.
  • NO artwork can be accepted with "placed" or "linked" images.
  • You may submit your art on CD, DVD, 3.5-inch floppy or by email.
  • ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR (5.5-10.0) must be BLACK AND WHITE NO color or grayscale
  • COREL DRAW (up to version 9.0) must be BLACK AND WHITE NO color or grayscale
  • You may also submit files contained in a .ZIP or a .RAR file.

For All Computer Generated Art Please Provide:

  • Screen font(s) used
  • Printer font(s) used
  • Black & White Faxed Hard Copy printout of layout(s)

For Names And Personalizations Only Please Use (No Graphics):

  • Microsoft Word or Excel (Macintosh or PC)

If electronic artwork is not an option, we also accept Black & White camera-ready art.


  • Please use High quality (600+ dpi) outputs, as large as possible on a 8.5" X 11" page.
  • Please DO NOT FOLD through any art.

If you would like us to typeset anything on your order, including line changes on repeat orders, please indicate so on your Purchase Order.



Specifications For Proper Etching:

  • San Serif Font (ex. Helvetica) Size 12 pt. +
  • Script Font (ex. Shelley) Size 15 to 18 pt. +
  • Serif Font (ex. Times) Size 14pt. +
  • No Open Face Fonts (ex. Caslon Open Face)
  • Graphics line thickness should be a minimum of 1.5 pt. Stroke
  • Artwork should be in BLACK & WHITE. (Please no halftones, grayscales or full color art).
  • A min. 1.5 pt. line must also separate where 2 colors will bleed together in all artwork.
